Resident Evil is a series with a huge identity crisis; after the amazing match of horror and action in Resident 4, and Resident Evil 5s big leap away from scares into all out action, 6 attempts to cater for all audiences. Opinions have been divisive across the whole of the gaming media regarding its newest iteration, so whether old Resi or new Resi is your preferred direction for the series will depend on the amount of enjoyment you get out of this game.
